Abstract

ABSTRAK Kanker endometrium biasanya terjadi karena paparan estrogen kronis. Salah satu metode pengobatan kanker endometrium yaitu terapi radiasi eksterna. terapi radiasi eksterna merupakan metode pemberian terapi radiasi dengan modalitas sumber radiasi dari luar tubuh pasien. Di Instalasi Radioterapi RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau dalam penatalaksanaan terapi radiasi eksterna pada kasus kanker endometrium teknik 3D – CRT menggunakan 4 lapangan penyinaran untuk mengefisiensikan waktu penyinaran dan distribusi dosis terhadap kanker juga cukup homogen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana penatalaksanaan terapi radiasi eksterna teknik 3D-CRT pada kasus kanker endometrium di Instalasi Radioterapi RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menjelaskan hasil observasi yang dilakukan. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan yaitu 1 orang dokter onkologi radiasi, 1 orang fisikawan medis dan 3 orang radiografer di bidang radioterapi. Lokasi penelitian ini yaitu Instalasi Radioterapi RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau . Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi . Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan metode pengumpulan data yang telah dilakukan, di Instalasi Radioterapi RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau dalam penatalaksanaan terapi radiasi eksterna pada kasus kanker endometrium teknik 3D – CRT dimulai dari registrasi pasien dan konsultasi dokter, Simulasi di CT – Simulator , Perencanaan penyinaran oleh dokter onkologi radiasi dan fisikawan medis, verifikasi portal dan Treatment. Penggunaan 4 lapangan penyinaran dengan tujuan untuk mengefisiensikan waktu penyinaran dan distribusi dosis terhadap kanker juga cukup homogen. Kata Kunci : Pengobatan , Endometrium, 3D - CRT ABSTRACT Endometrial cancer usually occurs due to chronic estrogen exposure. One method of treating endometrial cancer is external radiation therapy. External radiation therapy is a method of administering radiation therapy using a radiation source modality from outside the patient's body. At the Arifin Achmad Hospital Radiotherapy Installation, Riau Province, in the management of external radiation therapy in cases of endometrial cancer, the 3D - CRT technique uses 4 radiation fields with the aim of efficient radiation time and dose distribution. against cancer is also quite homogeneous. The aim of this research is to find out how to manage external radiation therapy using the 3D-CRT technique in cases of endometrial cancer in the Radiotherapy Installation of Arifin Achmad Hospital Riau Province. This type of research is qualitative by explaining the results of observations made. The research subjects used were 1 radiation oncologist, 1 medical physicist and 3 radiographers in the field of radiotherapy. The location of this research is the Radiotherapy Installation at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation The results of this research are based on data collection methods that have been carried out at the Arifin Achmad Hospital Radiotherapy Installation, Riau Province in the management of external radiation therapy in cases of endometrial cancer using the 3D - CRT technique starting from patient registration and doctor consultation, simulation on the CT - simulator, radiation planning by the doctor radiation oncology and medical physicist, portal verification and Treatment. The use of 4 irradiation fields with the aim of efficient irradiation time and dose distribution against cancer is also quite homogeneous.
