Abstract

PENATALAKSANAAN TERAPI RADIAS EKSTERNA DENGAN TEKNIK THREE-DIMENSIONAL CONFORMAL RADIATION THERAPY (3D-CRT) PADA KASUS KARSINOMA NASOFARING DI INSTALASI RADIOTERAPI RSUD ARIFIN ACHMAD PROVINSI RIAU ERNITA SAFITRI Universitas Awal Bros E-mail : ernitasafitri397@gmail.com ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui penatalaksanaan terapi radiasi eksterna dengan teknik three-dimentional conformal radiation therapy (3D-CRT) pada kasus karsinoma nasofaring di Instalasi Radioterapi RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana penatalaksanaan terapi radiasi eksterna dengan teknik 3D-CRT pada kasus karsinoma nasofaring di Instalasi Radioterapi RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau serta untuk mengetahui kelebihan terapi radiasi eksterna dengan teknik 3D-CRT pada kasus karsinoma nasofaring dengan menggunakan linac. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis peneluitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan menjelaskan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan melalui studi kepustakaan, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi guna mencapai tujuan dari penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan di Instalasi Radioterapi RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau pada bulan Maret-Mei tahun 2024. Analisa yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penatalaksanaan terapi radiasi eksterna teknik 3D-CRT pada kasus karsinoma nasofaring. Hasil penelitian akan diolah mulai dari menelaah seluruh data yang tersedia yaitu dari wawancara, observasi, dan juga dokumentasi dan kemudian data akan di reduksi dan disajikan dalam bentuk narasi deskriptif. Hasil penelitian, tahapan terapi radiasi penatalaksanaan terapi radiasi eksterna teknik 3D-CRT pada kasus karsinoma nasofaring yang dilakukan di Instalasi Radioterapi RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau meliputi tahap pendaftaran, konsultasi pasien ke dokter onkologi radiasi, simulasi penyinaran, konturing organ, planning oleh fisikawan medis, verifikasi serta penyinaran Kata Kunci : Terapi Radiasi, Karsinoma Nasofaring, Teknik 3D-CRT Kepustakaan : 29 (2014-2024) EXTERNAL RADIATION THERAPY MANAGEMENT WITH THREE-DIMENSIONAL CONFORMAL RADIATION THERAPY (3D-CRT) TECHNIQUE IN NASOPHARYNGEAL CARCINOMA CASES IN THE RADIOTHERAPY INSTALLATION OF ARIFIN ACHMAD PROVINSI RIAU HOSPITAL ERNITA SAFITRI Universitas Awal Bros E-mail : ernitasafitri397@gmail.com ABSTRACT This research was conducted to determine the management of external radiation therapy using the three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy (3D CRT) technique in cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma at the Radiotherapy Installation of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. The aim of this research is to find out how external radiation therapy is managed using the 3D-CRT technique in cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma in the Radiotherapy Installation of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province and to determine the advantages of external radiation therapy using the 3D-CRT technique in cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma using a linac. This research is a type of qualitative research that is descriptive in nature by explaining the results of observations made through literature study, observation, interviews and documentation in order to achieve the objectives of the research. The research was conducted at the Radiotherapy Installation of Arifin Achmad Regional Hospital, Riau Province in March-May 2024. The analysis that will be used in this research is the management of external radiation therapy using the 3D CRT technique in cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The research results will be processed starting from reviewing all available data, namely from interviews, observations, and also documentation and then the data will be reduced and presented in narrative form. From the research results, the stages of radiation therapy management of external radiation therapy using the 3D-CRT technique in cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma carried out at the Radiotherapy Installation of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province include the registration stage, patient consultation with a radiation oncologist, radiation simulation, organ contouring, planning by a medical physicist, verification and radiation.
